STARTING FROM $4,650 USD - FOR FULL DAY PHOTO + VIDEO COVERAGE

Your mexico wedding day, fully lived.

Every real moment captured as it happened.

No forced poses. No stopping your day to set up shots. No generic resort gallery that could belong to anyone.

We are Luis & Génessis — a husband-and-wife team based in Cancún. We guide your day, stay out of the way, and document what genuinely happens — so you can be completely present for every second of it.

We worked with Luis for our wedding in November and I could not recommend him more.

Most resort wedding photos look the same.

Yours don't have to.

The resort photographer shows up, lines everyone up, and works through a shot list. You spend your wedding day being directed instead of living it. The gallery comes back weeks later — technically fine, emotionally flat. Beautiful venue. Stiff couple. Could be anyone's wedding.

There is a different way. A documentary approach that treats your wedding day as a story worth telling — not a checklist worth completing. We move through your day without stopping it, anticipate moments before they happen, and capture what is genuinely there. The nervous breath before the vows. The way your dad holds your hand a second longer. The unscripted joy at midnight when nobody is thinking about the camera.

The result is a gallery that looks like your actual wedding — not a version of it performed for a camera.

You don't need to know how to pose. Most of our couples didn't.

Most people have never been in front of a professional camera before their wedding day. That moment when someone says "look natural" is exactly when you stop feeling natural.

We built our entire approach around this. We give you something to do, somewhere to walk, something real to react to — and step back. The couples who were most nervous about being photographed consistently produce the most genuine images in our entire portfolio. That is not luck. It is the system.

The same two people. Every single wedding. No exceptions.

When you hire Luis and Génessis, you are not hiring a photography company that assigns whoever is available. You are hiring two specific people who have worked together since 2018, share the same visual language, and cover your wedding from two perspectives simultaneously — without you ever having to coordinate it.

While Luis documents the ceremony from the front, Génessis captures your family's reactions from the side. While the first dance is happening, both angles are covered. Your gallery and your film were made by the same two people, at the same wedding, with the same creative vision. One cohesive story.

We have documented 250+ weddings on this coast. We know THE LIGHT.

After 250+ weddings across Cancún, Costa Mujeres, Playa Mujeres, Riviera Maya, Tulum, and Akumal since 2018 — we know the light at every major venue at every hour of the day. We know the best ceremony positions, the coordinator relationships, and the logistical details that make each property different.

We arrive on your wedding day knowing exactly where to stand, when to move, and what is coming next.

FAQ

My resort charges an outside vendor fee. Is it really worth it?

Honest answer: it depends on what matters to you. Resort photographers often work 15 to 20 weddings a month. You may not know who specifically is photographing your wedding until a few days before.

With us, you always know — it is Luis and Génessis, the same two people you spoke with on your Zoom call. Your photos and film are the only part of your wedding investment that grows in value over time.

Whether that is worth the vendor fee is a decision only you can make. Every couple who has paid it to work with us has told us it was the right call.

What happens if something goes wrong — bad weather, equipment failure?

We have photographed 250+ weddings in the Caribbean since 2018. We have shot in rain, in intense midday heat, in candlelit receptions with almost no light, and in venues we had never seen before.

Bad weather in Cancún rarely means the whole day is lost — it usually means a brief afternoon shower and then the most dramatic golden hour light you have ever seen.

We carry backup equipment to every wedding. And if something truly goes wrong beyond anyone's control, we handle it — you will never be left figuring it out alone.

Can we see a full wedding gallery — not just your highlights?

Yes — and we encourage it. Seeing 20 curated photos on a website tells you nothing about what a full wedding day actually looks like.

Head to our portfolio and open any real wedding gallery. Each one has 100+ edited images from getting ready to the last dance.

That is the work you are actually hiring.

Do you know our resort?

After 250+ weddings across Cancún, Costa Mujeres, Playa Mujeres, Riviera Maya, Tulum, and Akumal since 2018 — probably yes.

We know most of the major venues, their coordinators, the best ceremony positions, and exactly what the light looks like at every hour of the day.

If we have not been to your specific venue, we research it thoroughly before we arrive. You will never feel like we are figuring out your resort on your wedding day.

How do we know if our date still available?

We take a maximum of six weddings per month. Peak season dates — December through April — fill 12 to 18 months in advance.

The only way to know for sure is to reach out. Fill out the form below and we will confirm availability within 24 hours.

We are camera shy. Would you guide us on how to pose?

This is the most common thing couples tell us before their wedding — and the most common thing they forget about by the end of the day. Our no-posing approach means we never put you in a position that feels awkward to you.

We create a relaxed environment, move through your day without stopping it, and document what naturally happens.

The couples who were most worried about looking awkward consistently end up with the most natural, real images in our entire portfolio.
